Guangzhou Zhiguang Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. (short as Zhiguang Energy Storage), a subsidiary of Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Co., Ltd., achieved another success in Xinjiang’s energy storage sector: winning the bid for the 135MWh energy storage system equipment procurement for the integrated PV-thermal-storage project (450MW) in Yuli County, developed by Sheneng Group. This follows the company’s earlier signing this month of a 600MWh cascaded high-voltage energy storage project in Hebei.
So far in 2025, Zhiguang Energy Storage has made a strong start in the competitive energy storage market, successfully signing large-scale projects in Gansu, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Hebei, Zhejiang, Qinghai, and Liaoning. The total volume of awarded/signed projects has exceeded 4.4GWh this year, with the largest single-site project reaching over 1GWh. Among them, cascaded high-voltage direct-connected storage projects account for more than 2.7GWh. As a pioneer and leader in cascaded high-voltage large-capacity storage technology, the company continues to drive the advancement and application of this cutting-edge solution.
To date, Zhiguang’s cascaded high-voltage direct-connected storage technology has been applied in dozens of large-scale 100MW-level projects, with the largest single station reaching 1038MWh. All facilities have demonstrated stable operation and outstanding performance, earning strong recognition from clients.
In response to China’s comprehensive market reform for new energy, Zhiguang Energy Storage leverages its technological and application advantages in cascaded high-voltage systems to actively support grid regulation and optimize power transactions. This helps customers significantly increase site revenues and further solidifies the company’s leading position in the large-capacity cascaded high-voltage energy storage sector.
With strong contract wins and project deliveries in the first half of the year, coupled with fully unleashed production capacity, Zhiguang Energy Storage is driving the development of new power systems with green innovation — powered by both technological breakthroughs and scalable manufacturing — leading the energy storage industry toward high-quality growth.
